Hi Eddie,
I love your blogs, they are definitely as good as your dad’s blogs, I love the photos you put in them.
I hope you get to see your blue whale one day, I used to love seeing the big blue whale in the Natural History Museum when I was young, and that was a long time ago!
Keep looking at the world and writing about the wonderful wildlife.
Helen
That was brill Eddie, thanks for sharing! I’ve always loved elephants, my favourite animal;it was so great when I got to see them a few years ago in Thailand, I was in my 50’s ! Now, if possible I love them even more. You ‘ll know what I mean when you get to see a blue whale……:-))
Excellent blogs Eddie.A blog is for ever, not just for June. Start saving up for the blue whale expedition. You could write a book about your life on the Broads.Get some tips from your dad. He’s getting quite good at it!Come to think of it,you could sort of charge him “appearance ” money for all the times he writes about your adventures. Best of luck, Geoff
Dear Eddie
I have to go back to the Natural History museum over and over again just to see the blue whale. I first saw it when I was quite small and never forgot it. I took my children to see it as soon as they were old enough. I would love to see a real one so I hope you manage to. It would be amazing.
Love from Chris
Hi Eddie
I have just read your really interesting blog. Dreams sometimes come true and I hope that your dream of seeing a blue whale will come true one day. I have a feeling that it will. Just keep saving as much as you can. Lots of love. Xx
Thinking about whales, some years ago I was working on the, “Rough A”, a gas platform in the Southern North Sea when one day I had to go down to what was called the, “spider” deck. That was the lowest level on the platform and at high tide and a total flat calm, I was standing about 2 metres from the sea. A pilot whale appeared from nowhere and started to rub itself against the barnacle-encrusted tubular steel nearest me. To begin with I was absolutely petrified but that gave way to wonder because the whale’s eye followed me if I moved a hand and I felt that I could touch it’s snout although that was about 3 metres away. It’s hard to say how long we stood there looking at each other, maybe 5 minutes but then it slowly and gracefully slipped below the surface and was gone. It’s smell though was incredibly bad!
Good luck with your whale watch……
Well Eddie I hope you manage to see the Blue Whale in all its natural glory one day, it is dreams like that that keep the bad things that happen in the world in the background, I wish you and your family all the best of luck!
