Have you got a microscope at home? Moss is a great place to find water bears (tardigrades). A whole new world.

I haven’t but Dad has told me about water bears. I’ll ask my parents about a microscope.

I love moss too, saw this at Arne RSPB site a few days ago, could not resist a photograph. Not sure how to send it to you, sorry. Also had some magical moments close up to a hind and her youngster who were wanting to join the herd and had to size up the gap in a barbed wire fence…they both jumped through perfectly though we did spot the Mum had tears on her back legs just below her knees so maybe she was a little wary and more careful this time with her jump.
Love your posts Eddie, thank you.

We like moss too, we leave it in our grass so that the birds can use it for their nests 🙂
